Our Regional Civil Engineering business have a number of schemes coming to fruition which will be mobilising in the next few months.

The roads and highways projects involve all aspects of construction on low and high speed roads across National Highways Area 3 & 4 (encompassing Hampshire, Dorset, East & West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Berkshire).

We are seeking Sub Agent capable of assisting in the running £1m - £10m projects.


You'll be working on. (what your role and responsibility is)

  • Maintain contract performance and project delivery.
  • Develop and supervise project programs, ensuring alignment with timelines.
  • Interpret drawings and provide engineering support.
  • Ensure proper induction and qualifications for personnel.
  • Represent the business to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate monthly reports and chair site meetings.
  • Obtain and manage 'as built' information.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations and safety standards.
  • Manage project costs and maintain detailed records.

  • Highly organised, excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising on safety, standards and quality.

  • Safety first mindset, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks
  • Tech savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Problem solver with the ability to both question designs and produce/explain accurate plans and drawings.

You'll bring(your wealth of experience & qualifications)

  • A Civil, Structural, or Construction Management background on National Highways networks.
  • Relevant experience in the delivery arena. Experience and knowledge of construction.
- industry - awareness of current techniques.

  • Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management,
- programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.

  • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)
  • Leadership experience (desirable)

Qualifications:


  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
  • CSCS card
  • SMSTS card
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Working towards IEng AMICE, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Service avoidance training (desirable)
  • Confined space training (desirable)
  • Appointed person CPCS card (desirable)
