Hazardous Waste Chemist

We require a full time, home based, Hazardous Waste Chemist to join a small team of experts to work within the South East of England to look after our clients within that area.

You should have experience in UK Hazardous waste movements and be able to arrange the off site removal of waste material to our favoured third party suppliers.

The role will involve listing and packaging lab chemicals as well as other Hazardous wastes, labelling all materials and arranging Hazardous waste documenation at our clients sites with London and South East England.

Small quantities of waste will need transporting to disposal sites, although not within ADR limits, knowledge of safe road transport will be a benefit.

The Chemist will be supplied with a Company van and all necessary equipment to carry out all tasks safely and professionally. You will also have the back up of our own Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

This role is a home based role, so the vehicle will be kept by the Chemist at their home.

The Chemist should ideally be a degree quialified (or equivalent) chemist with some experience in the hazardous Waste field. A transfer Station Chemist, looking for a more customer focused role, would be ideal.

Salary will be based upon levels of experience.
