    Role: Head of Quality / Quality Director / Operations (Manufacturing) - Global

    Location: West Midlands

    Work type: Permanent

    ARCA Resourcing is exclusively partnered with a well-established manufacturing organisation based in the West Midlands seeking to hire a Head of Quality.

    By employing data-driven root cause analysis, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionising the company's approach to detecting, addressing, and averting issues across the organisation.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Foster the growth and development of your team of quality specialists.
    • Have responsibility for maintaining approvals, conducting inspections, and leading audits.
    • Spearhead the company's endeavours to continually enhance the quality of products or services through the implementation of process controls, data analysis, and device measurement.
    • Ensure focus on quality in new product development (NPD), new product introduction (NPI), and engineering change activities to guarantee product and process compliance.
    • Provide compliance and technical data to facilitate the introduction of products to both new and existing customers.
    • Offer compliance expertise and specialist support as needed.
    • Utilise a comprehensive understanding of industry compliance standards
    • Provide guidance on changes and offer recommendations for their implementation; deliver training, tools, and techniques to empower others to meet quality standards.
    • Supervise product recalls promptly and responsibly in case of product failure.
    • Drive improvements in supplier quality by collaborating with suppliers to ensure adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards throughout our supply chain, aiming to reduce the incidence of poor quality and associated costs.

    Experience require:

    • Degree (or equivalent) and certification as a lead auditor, or substantial relevant experience.
    • Understanding and proficient management of Total Quality Management, ISO90001, and associated policies within a worldwide manufacturing supply chain.
    • Comprehensive understanding of compliance obligations across all facets of the supply chain.
    • Capacity to swiftly grasp understanding of product portfolio, coupled with a solid technical grasp of its functionalities and advantages.
    • Strong commercial and financial insight and strong analytical skills
    • Demonstrate possession of a "global mindset," enabling cross-disciplinary, cross-industry, cross-cultural, and cross-scenario thinking.
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
