- 4+ years of real estate lending experience gained at a bank and / or an alternate lender
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple work streams
- Lead and coordinate overall due diligence / underwriting process
- Review initial deal information and prepare the financial model in accordance with policies/hurdles to share terms with clients
- Produce key underwriting documents, in particular, detailed credit applications, with direction from Deal Originators
- Review professional reports and feedback issues, questions, comments to professional with Head of Credit
- Proactively flag issues and potential risks to the Head of Credit; offer solutions to resolve these with minimal impact to clients
- Coordinate and lead communication with clients and stakeholders
- Attend client meetings and contribute to new business development activities Input into development of changes, new ideas and innovation to the wider business
- Undertake required admin and updates on internal systems; undertake or run relevant training and development activities
