    Frontend Developer - - Digital Agency - Leeds

    A full-service digital agency based in Leeds, whose ground breaking digital solutions have helped transform user experience for some of the worlds leading brands are looking for a frontend Developer ) to join their growing team.


    The company have partnered with a real variety of clients that include a number of global businesses who are in the top 30 visited sides in the worldnAs an agency, they have an outstanding reputation of quality and client satisfaction, which is what they have built their impressive client list on.


    Within the role you will be designing, developing, and implementing user-facing features (Using ) for various client projects (usually 4/5 at a time).nThe ideal Developer will have a solid background in commercial web and application development and will be expected to build reusable code and libraries for future use, optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability, and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.


    From a skill set point of view, the core tech is below - this is a frontend focussed role with an element of Full Stack in there, so any backend knowledge or experience is beneficial (ideally PHP).

    Strong knowledge of and its core principlesnExperience with GraphQL and Node.jsnFamiliarity with PostgreSQL and database technologynKnowledge of NPM and other package managersnProficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3nGood understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSnProficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworksnGood understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXnProficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themnFamiliarity with code versioning tools, such as Git


    The company has been established for over 20 years and are currently a sociable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable team of 30.nThey have a fantastic office space in Leeds and offer a hybrid and flexible working pattern - with 3 days on site.
