    Role Summary

    We live for the success of our customers which represent the world's leading and most innovative airlines (e.g. American Airlines, British Airways, easyJet, Qantas). Our customers recognize us for our world-class products, talent and our commitment to partnership. The focus of this role is to actively generate, pursue, and nurture new leads to support the Sales team. Excellent communication skills and hunter mentality are required, along with significant resilience. The role will be based within the Sales Operations Team but will entail cross-functional involvement and external interaction. This role is office-based in Bristol however may require some international travel from time to time. Excellent potential for career development.
    Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager this role will be pivotal to driving outbound sales opportunities, and representing/communicating our position as a leading aviation software company in the external marketplace.


    Main Responsibilities

    Outbound Engagement for Lead Generation:

    • Research potential customers, identify key players and relationships and create strategy to generate interest.
    • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads and identify potential clients through various channels such as emailing, social media outreach, webinars participation, leverage networking, etc.
    • Respond, engage and qualify outbound leads and inquiries in a professional manner.
    • Source, nurture and qualify leads to handover to Sales to continue the sales cycle.
    • Qualification: Qualify leads by understanding their situation, challenges and business needs to determine whether they are a good fit.
    • Generate new business opportunities by scheduling meetings, product demos, and presentations with prospective clients for our sales team.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the sales, marketing and sales operations teams to develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation.
    • Work with the Marketing Team on specific campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and engage with potential customers.

    Market Research:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and positioning strategies.
    • Industry analysis: key organizations/consultants and potential partnerships.
    • Social Research: Keep up to date with social media and movements of specific target prospects, customers and competitors.

    Tools and Data management:

    • Use external tools to identify new Leads (eg. Sales Navigator).
    • Keep accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system to track progress, measure performance, and report on key metrics.
    • Use of marketing automation tool to support lead generation.

    Key skills and qualifications

    • Must be educated to a diploma/degree level - Business/Sales/Marketing related qualification preferred.
    • At least 3 year experience with proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Must be fluent in English to a very high standard and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Resilience and self-starter mentality.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with a high level of initiative, persistence and "can-do" attitude.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and tracking.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behaviour in relevant sectors is a plus.
    • Second language would be advantageous.
