An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Administration Assistant within our Mental Health Service at Atherleigh Park Hospital in Wigan.
The role will involve providing administrative support for the patient flow and inpatient team. The support provided will aim to assist in the day to day running of the wards.- To requisition stationery, medical and domestic supplies, including
- To requisition ward and patient monies as instructed whilst adhering
- To prepare and maintain patients' case notes upon request.
- Routine typing and filing upon instruction from Ward Manager/Administrator.
- Retrieval of information upon request.
- To take telephone calls, deliver messages and deal with enquiries
- To ensure jobs are logged on MICAD for repair work as required.
- Photocopy information as instructed.
