    Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) are a nationally recognised mortgage broker and network, winners of over 200 awards in the past 5 years and continually growing.

    We are now seeking Trainee Mortgage Advisers to work for one of our established, exceptional, market leading mortgage broker based in their head office in Baillieston, Glasgow

    THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE SO ONLY CANDIDATES LIVING IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

    You will be responsible for delivering a first class experience to new and existing customers who wish to arrange a mortgage using Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB)

    You will start your journey with the business with them providing you a good insight into the business, how they work, what their culture is and how they deal with their customers.

    The role will involve working closely with all manner of leads to provide mortgage advice to clients buying and selling property, remortgaging and requiring protection products; to include prospecting, completing a fact find, understanding the client's needs and recommending mortgage or protection products that meet their requirements.

    They will invest a lot of time, energy and resource into helping you to become a successful adviser and in fact expect candidates to be advising customers in some product areas within 1-2 months of joining.

    During the period of your training you will undergo a full structured training programme on all elements of the role supported by both the AR business as well as the MAB team.

    You must be fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent to give mortgage and protection advice) at the outset to show your commitment and this role is office based, not remotely based.

    In addition to a professional qualification, experience of working within an estate agency, banking or financial services environment is essential as is some form of sales experience and customer interaction, especially over the telephone

    Starting salaries whilst training will be negotiable based on relevant qualifications and experience with a guarantee and structured salary and career path once you have completed your training.
