Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications and monitor health conditions
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
Maintain a clean and safe living environment
Care planning
Supervising and managing a team.
Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level
Previous experience in caregiving is essential
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To be organised and be able to manage a team.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals receiving care
Strong problemsolving abilities to address any challenges that may arise during caregiving
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner
Empathy and understanding to provide emotional support to individuals in need
Attention to detail to accurately administer medications and follow care plans
