Our client has a new exciting role for an experienced Quality Systems Manager, to work for one of the best manufacturing companies in the Portsmouth area, who pay competitive salaries, excellent benefits and a great working environment

Mission:

To maintain, update and further develop the Quality & Environmental Management Systems through Intranet system for the efficient operation of the business.

To provide administrative support and monthly data analysis to the Head of Quality.


Responsibilities:
Quality Systems Engineer (or Manager) having strong technical skills with a background in manufacturing (electronic & / or mechanical engineering)

Must be familiar with and have working knowledge of the following standards:
ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO Environmental), ISO 80079/34 (Explosive standard)Must have robust internal / external auditing skills (qualified / certified in audit management)Person will act as the Quality / Environmental business process owner for the company and have the ability to run meetings at the leadership levelPerson must be a driving force across the business, visible and influential with proactive thinking (demonstrates continuous improvements behaviours)Development

Develop processes and working practices to ensure the company's QMS system is maintained and improved over timeDevelop data collection processes to produce metrics
