Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Consultant Haematologist. This is a replacement, whole time post following the retirement of the previous post holder.
Completion of GMC approved JRCPTB curriculum in Haematology (for UK trained applicants)
Provide consultant-level care in all aspects of haematology
Participate in departmental activities including teaching, audit, and research
Share duties in General Haematology, laboratory management, and Haemostasis advice
Support the lymphoma service
Contribute to laboratory reporting and on-call duties
Educate and train junior medical staff and participate in teaching programs
Engage in audit and continuous professional development
Part-time arrangements are negotiable
