    About the role

    We're looking for Solicitor to join our Legal team at our Leeds head office for a 12 month fixed term contract.

    As a Solicitor you will be delivering in-house legal support and advice for a number of different departments. You will be advising on the Society's savings and mortgage products, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and reviewing marketing literature and customer communications.

    What will you bring to the role?

    • Qualified solicitor
    • Ideally experience of reviewing/drafting/negotiating commercial contracts and/or experience in providing regulatory advice, for example, in relation to MCOB or BCOB.
    • Good organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload
    • Strong communication / interpersonal skills
    • Experience within Financial Services is preferable but not essential
