- Lead and manage multiple project teams and electrical projects simultaneously to ensure that specification, quality and budget targets are met.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align projects with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedule and design objective.
- Develop project plans that incorporate strategic priorities and drive the achievement of business outcomes.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentoring and developing other members of the project team.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in Construction Management, preferably in Power Utilities, or Water/Gas/Communications, regulated industry experience (National Grid, Network Rail, London Underground).
- Strong and effective communicator.
- Competent IT User (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm with a high attention to detail.
- A great attitude, a fantastic work ethic and a desire to learn.
- A good working knowledge of operating systems, word processing and data input.
- Working to tight deadlines maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
