    Description

    Electrical Project Manager – Substations

    Danny Sullivan Group are looking for Project Managers with an Electrical bias, to work on long term substation projects, 11-132kV. This position is able to accommodate a hybrid work structure, with office locations near Reading and Slough. This client is a rapidly growing energy and utilities contractor with good opportunities for fast career progression.

    Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager:

    • Lead and manage multiple project teams and electrical projects simultaneously to ensure that specification, quality and budget targets are met.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align projects with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
    • Maintain strict adherence to project schedule and design objective.
    • Develop project plans that incorporate strategic priorities and drive the achievement of business outcomes.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
    • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Mentoring and developing other members of the project team.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
    • Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

    Skills & Experience

    • Experience in Construction Management, preferably in Power Utilities, or Water/Gas/Communications, regulated industry experience (National Grid, Network Rail, London Underground).
    • Strong and effective communicator.
    • Competent IT User (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm with a high attention to detail.
    • A great attitude, a fantastic work ethic and a desire to learn.
    • A good working knowledge of operating systems, word processing and data input.
    • Working to tight deadlines maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
