Our Client has an exciting opportunity to join their Training & Staff Development Team. You will be joining a well-established, innovative and dynamic team.


A Training Co-Ordinator is responsible for training and supporting both care and office teams to ensure they have the required mandatory and additional skills they need to provide care safely to our residents.

Hours:
On site, full time


RESPONSIBILITY:

To plan and deliver all mandatory and specialised training to staff ensuring competence in their job roles.

To keep abreast of all legislative and developments within the social care environment, with particular regard to the elderly.


KEY ACCOUNTABLES:


  • To plan and deliver all mandatory and specialised training to staff in an allocated area, ensuring competence in their job roles.
  • To undertake training needs analysis with individual managers developing training plans to meet the needs of individuals
  • To prepare comprehensive tenders for training funding.
  • To support and monitor QCF provision with the aim of meeting targets as set by the CQC.
  • Identify areas for improvement; contribute recommendations to the Training & Development Manager
  • Be committed to your own continued professional development
  • To attend all staff meetings and staff supervision sessions as and when required.
  • It is the responsibility of every member of staff to ensure compliance with health and safety at work legislation.

EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience of training adults
  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Previous L&D experience
