Description

Now working in the latest Asset Management Period, known as AMP 7, we are working towards delivering an approximate £1.8bn programme of work until 2025.

Are you ready to join us as we aim to deliver the most exciting and innovative AMP we have ever seen?

With around 800 projects being worked on across the region, we work closely with Anglian Water and their customers to deliver the best infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions to keep the water flowing.

Do you have what it takes to transform society?

Our exciting and diverse array of projects across our region keeps us on our toes and we are committed to providing the best water and water recycling services to our customers.

However, we understand and appreciate our roles as environmental custodians, meaning we never compromise our duties to our natural surroundings during our construction work.

To support our Environmental Managers in the delivery of strategic priorities, we are looking for an Environmental Advisor to join the Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) team.

What will you be doing as our new Environmental Advisor?

As our new Environmental Advisor, you'll provide on-site support to Construction teams during Delivery Milestones (DM) 3 and 4 stages of the project.

You'll assist in the preparation and review of environmental paperwork required for construction ensuring we remain ethical and compliant whilst not impacting on pressing deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Consult with environmental regulators and key stakeholders where not undertaken pre DM
  • Support Partner Organisations in achieving their environmental goals and sustainability objectives
  • Form part of the CAT1 and CAT2 incident investigation team and assist with the reporting of CAT3 and CAT4 / Near miss reporting whilst updating the NCR log for environmental issues and close out
  • Provide guidance, support and feedback for internal and external audits and inspections as required
  • Provide accurate, timely and valueadded performance reporting to contribute to business decision making

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.

To join the team in achieving environmental excellence, you'll have an interest in a host of environmental issues including soil testing, archaeology, ecology and contaminated land as well as knowledge of key environmental legislation.

Your direct experience with environmental regulators alongside your data analysis and interpretation will allow you to make informed and trusted suggestions and decisions.

Possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you'll relish the opportunity to work across our alliance and enhance our environmental offerings to encourage safe, ethical and robust outperformance.
