Nathan TedderOur client, the world's leading data, insights, and consulting company, are currently looking to recruit for a Data Tester to join their team on a permanent basis. The Data Tester will have strong technical expertise; with knowledge of Scripting (python/Java/ bash), product and regression testing, as well as SQL and Linux experience.


The Data Tester will be responsible for the coordination, and E2E product acceptance testing of deliveries from different hardware and software product groups.

The Data Tester will be able to demonstrate hands-on technical skill in the use of Linux, databases and data analysis.


Role Requirements for the Data Tester:

  • Linux operations/administration/tools/scripting
  • Expert knowledge of data and how it flows through products / Systems
  • Ability to fault find data issues
  • Using databases, SQL and some experience of nonSQL databases
  • Experience with Data Testing is required for the Data Tester
  • Experience of working with low level data formats (hex, binary)
  • Basic knowledge of networking
  • Cloud operations (particularly Azure)
  • Ability to work with and combine data in various formats and identify trends and issues.
  • Experience of testing on a Microsoft Azure environment
