HGV Technician/Mechanical Fitter
We are looking for an experience HGV Technician/Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repair, maintenance and service of the fleet of vehicles based in Darlington.

Liaising with service providers for technical data
Welding
Preparing wagons to MOT standard

We are looking for an experienced Technician with a sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic an electrical systems and can ensure that work is carried out in accordance with all statutory obligations, company policies and the company operator's licence.

The role is working 5 days over 7, 40 hours per week plus overtime with a start time of 7:00am.

Class 1 licence preferred but not essential.
96 per hour, to be reviewed after successfully completing your probation period (12 weeks).

For the first 12 weeks you will be paid weekly for the hours you have worked the week before.

This role will incorporate some weekend working on a rota basis.
