About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join our team.

With some exciting Digital projects, both in-flight and on the horizon, you'll be responsible for delivering complex projects at pace.

You'll help our clients to simplify complexity,enable strategic change and ultimately, make a positive difference.


As a Digital Project Manager you'll either be responsible for a single project (up to £1m) or several smaller projects (£5k - £100k), ensuring the outputs are delivered as expected and customer satisfaction is achieved.

Your day-to-day as a Digital Project Manager at CDS...

  • Working with multidisciplined teams to deliver a variety of projects to a variety of clients.
  • Supporting your clients to deliver their vision.
  • Delivering both Agile (Scrum) & Prince2 waterfall projects.
  • Working with other department leads across CDS to support the delivery of projects through to Live.
  • Working with internal teams, clients & new/potential clients during newbid preparation & feasibility.
  • Mitigating risk to the delivery of your projects.
  • Ensuring delivery against the project budgets.

Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can

  • Be responsible for, own, and deliver multiple projects at once; from Sales team handover to final delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the various teams & pillars across CDS.
  • Adapt to the varying needs of our clients sometimes delivering both Agile & Waterfall/Prince2 projects at once.
  • Support continual improvement within the Project Management team and across CDS.
  • Support other colleagues in the Project Management team with support and leadership (including line management & mentoring of our Junior and Apprentice Project Managers).
  • Work in a challenging and fastpaced environment and have fun doing it

Requirements:


  • Strong experience in delivering Digital projects within an Agile (Scrum/Scrum Master) & Waterfall (Prince2) methodology.
  • Agile/Prince2 qualification &/or demonstrable experience.
  • Experience in managing software delivery teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Project budget & time management experience.
  • Stakeholder/client/3rd party supplier management experience.
  • Demonstrable evidence of team leadership, line management & instilling core company values.
  • It would also be beneficial, but not essential to have _
  • MSP/Programme Management experience.
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) experience.
  • Experience managing any User Research &/or Accessibility &/or UX/UI Design &/or Content delivery projects.
