This owner managed business in Goole has fine-tuned the balance between being a high growth SME whilst retaining it's relaxed, non-corporate culture.

With an acquisition in the pipeline and continued investment from the owners to scale up the business, they continue to go from strength to strength.

As a result, they have a newly created role for a Financial Controller to head up their accounts function.

Managing a team of 5 including an accountant and 4 transactional admins staff, you'll be overseeing the accounts preparation and transactional processing, ensuring controls are in place so you can have confidence in the numbers when presenting to the board.

You'll also spent a large proportion of your time business partnering with the wider business to embed more efficient processes and procedures and increase profitability.

No prior manufacturing experience is required for this position, just a good understanding of leading small finance teams in either owner managed or family run businesses.
