- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology.
- Interpret and report on imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate radiological diagnostics and contribute to patient management.
- Participate in and lead interventional radiology procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, providing guidance and training in radiology techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives within the department.
- Participate in on-call duties and support emergency radiology services as required.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in radiology technology and medical knowledge.
- Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a licence to practise.
- Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Fellowship (FRCR) or equivalent.
- Specialised training in a specific radiology field (e.g., neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, interventional radiology, etc.).
- Substantial experience in diagnostic imaging and interpretation.
