About The Role


We are Sandbanks a CQC registered care home in Feltham and we provide a 60 place residential care for adults over the age of 55years, some of whom have dementia.


It is important to us that our residents receive the best care available, which is why we are currently looking to recruit compassionate, caring, care workers who may have some experience of either informal caring or experience of caring in a workplace to join our dedicated team.


Key Responsibilities:


To act as a member of a team, providing care, social rehabilitation and physical and emotional care and support to residents in a residential home, working to Care Quality Standards and departmental Policies.


Your Skills:


  • Good communication using the English language. All documentation especially care plans, incident forms, medication records; are clear, concise, factual and accurate and completed in line with policies and procedures and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to think clearly, process information and prioritise duties.
  • This is a progressive and responsible role for an experienced, confident and passionate care professional.

Professional Qualifications:


To be trained to Skills for Care Induction level and QCF level 2 standards in Direct Care and be able to achieve all care training requirements as outlined by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), including competency testing explicit to medication.

Participate fully in a shift system which incorporates weekends and bank holidays.


Essential for the role
Enhanced DBS check is required for the role.
