Gleeson Recruitment Group is supporting a leading UK law firm with a HQ based in Birmingham City Centre, and assisting with their need to recruit a Finance and Billing Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be a partof the businesses billing strategy. Depending on experience you can expect between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

The business offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week working from home.

Finance and Billing Administrator Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining a diary system of when interim and year end bills are due
  • Preparing and recording interim bills
  • Preparing annual files and documents to be sent to costs draftsman to include using software to bundling and printing the same
  • Liaising with the legal advisor and cost draftsman in respect of the drafted bill
  • Checking draft bills
  • Collating and supervising the preparation of any additional documents
  • Checking assessed figures
  • Checking recalculation
  • Recording data and utilising this to improve efficiency's
  • Aged bill management
  • Preparing costs budgets

Essential Skills

  • Excellent proven numeracy and organisational skills
  • 12 years Billing/ Finance experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent and proven time and diary management skills
