    Job Title:
    Software Engineer


    Salary:
    £35,000 - £50,000


    Location of work:
    Leeds - WFH hybrid available

    The role:

    Our client is an electronics business who design and manufacture complex and cutting-edge control systems used in harsh environments.

    The systems control various aspects, including large robotic and electro-mechanical equipment, video, communication, power and multiple sensors.


    The business has recently been awarded a huge new project from a loyal customer which is expected to last at least three years.

    As such the business is looking to grow its software team.


    Required skills and experience:
    Experience with ReactJS and JavaScript
    Knowledge and understanding Python
    UI/GUI application development
    Have an interest electronics and embedded systems

    Be a hobbyist with physical products / devicesYou will be tasked with upgrading a whole suite of UI/GUI applications that are used to control the systems.

    The customer is wanting various new features and enhancements to the applications, and for them to use the latest technology.


    To be suitable for this role you should be a Software Engineer who has ReactJS or JavaScript, Python and User Interface/ GUI experience.

    You will have opportunity to do a wide variety of task work in this role that includes front end and back-end application development.

    There is opportunity to do other software development taskwork if you wish.


    The business is in a great location in Leeds located off the outer ring road, making it accessible for people living in all areas of Leeds and surrounding towns and cities.
