Electrical Controls Engineer

Permanent

Competitive Salary

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm and 8:30am-3:30pm on Fridays

Located near Derby

Electrical Controls Engineer

  • Responsible for electrical and controls engineering across the site from initial concept to manufacturing and implementation.
  • Creating electrical schematics, control panel design and testing and single line diagrams.
  • Panel design and manufacturing
  • Creating documentation for all aspects of the control system including technical manuals
  • Maintenance of technical documentation manuals
  • Communicating with the maintenance and industrial engineering departments

Electrical Controls Engineer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required:


  • Electrical engineering degree or similar qualification
  • Relevant manufacturing experience with electrics and design
  • Attention to detail, able to challenge design concepts and ideas.
  • Strong communication skills
  • PLC programming experience
  • Willing to learn new systems

Electrical Controls Engineer

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required:


  • 18th Edition wiring qualification
  • Labview and Eplan experience would be an advantage
