SUMMARY:
This role is central to the overall performance of the operation through the accuracy and integrity of all stock held in the warehouse and at third party locations.
Reporting will be imperative in tracking continuous improvement and providing the confidence to the business and to our customer base that we have unhindered visibility of our stock levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the accuracy of stock held at all JHT and third party sites.
Ensure that goods are PGI'd in a timely and accurate manner to enable accurate invoicing
Maintain and further develop a working relationship between the warehouse, supply chain / inventory and installation teams
Drive, complete and maintain a PI count across all locations
Identify root causes of stock inaccuracies and implement corrective actions to eliminate reoccurrence
Maintain stock location integrity across the business
To be an integral part of the overall Operational OTC process along with the associated off-shoot processes including but not limited to returns, internal communications
Be confident to challenge process adherence
To ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to
Review and continuous improvement of SOP's and work instructions
To continually challenge standard convention
To drive reduction in operational costs and improve efficiencies showcasing tangible improvements in both
To report against relevant KPI's
To support standard warehouse operations during peak periods, such as picking and vehicle loading.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience of the use of SAP, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Excel is very desirable
- Experience of a WMS is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- FLT license is essential training can be provided
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience of stock control is essential, in addition to working in a busy warehouse and office environment. This person should have excellent communication skills and be computer literate. Experience of SAP and CRM would be advantageous.
The ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external customers is a must and the ability to deal with queries swiftly and accurately is also essential.
The person should be comfortable with a large workload, have the capability to prioritise accordingly and be able to work on their own initiative.
In addition, the person should possess a high level of accuracy with regards to data input.They should be flexible to changing working methods and procedures and be able to respond quickly and efficiently to change.
