We have an exciting opportunity for a Tenant Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at our site in London.


Job Role:
Tenant Multi Skilled Engineer


Salary:
£40,000.00


Location:
Regents Place, London, NW1 3BG


Normal working hours:
Mon-Fri 40 hours per week ,08:00-17:00hrs


Purpose
To undertake electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance tasks and minor installations.


To undertake minor building fabric activities and repairs including but not limited to minor plumbing tasks, minor decoration works, ironmongery adjustments etc.

Ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance work is undertaken effectively and efficiently.


Duties

  • To monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment. Undertake PPM tasks via Concept CAFM updating with comments and any further actions required. Additionally, the OMNI maintenance calendar is to be updated in linewith the completed works.
  • Arrange and confirm Planned Subcontractor visits in line with the CAFM and OMNI maintenance planner.
  • Reviewing RAMS for the visits and submitting relevant permits on the Vicinitee platform.
  • Collate subsequent service reports and file on the CAFM and OMNI system, following up on an identified remedial works including requesting works quotations.
  • Build effective relationships with the client, answering queries, keeping them informed about site activities and developments.
  • Act as a conduit between the Site M&E team and the tenant representative.
  • To keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work assist with audit inspections carried out by the client.
  • To undertake both electrical, building fabric repairs and facilities tasks. Including but not limited to those listed in the associated labour loading list.

Skills

  • Previous experience in building services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with staff and Customers at all levels.
  • Formal qualification in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering.
  • Experience as an end user and basic fault finding of Building Management Systems.

Qualifications

  • 17th Edition

IEE:
Wiring & Installation ideally 18th Edition.

  • City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2
    or C&G 2365 level 2 and
  • L8 Awareness Training.
  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
