Description
Experience of Financial Promotions, working in Retail Financial Services- Experience of working in both IFA and Restricted environments advantageous, not essential
- Broad, current knowledge of product features in all market sectors, including up to date knowledge on regulated Consumer Credit
- Detailed technical knowledge of financial services including Pensions, Investment, Insurance and Mortgages, as well as general industry knowledge
- Broad knowledge and understanding of Financial Services regulation and the Retail Distribution Review (RDR); Mortgage Market Review (MMR) and Mortgage Credit Directive, MiFID II and GDPR
- A good understanding of the regulator's approach to Financial Promotions
- Good listening excellent influencing and communication skills
- Able to solve any issues in a friendly but purposeful manner
- Comfortable working with high workloads at times and able to use own initiative
- Individual must be driven, organised and able to help steer the role and shape the team
- Keen to continue to develop and be a mentor for others

Role:
Our client has an immediate requirement for a Financial Promotions Team Leader to work either remotely and must be willing travel to Newcastle once/twice per month).
As Financial Promotions Team Leader, the main purpose of your role is to deliver regulatory oversight to Appointed Representative firms and Registered Individuals and to provide support to the review and approval of financial promotions, stationery and other client facing materials in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Approval of any client facing advertising or promotional material
- Maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Maintain an acceptable quality level and remain up to date with the FCA rules and guidance
- Ensure that the record keeping processes for the team, remain robust and accurate
- Maintain the agreed team Standard Level Agreement (SLA)
Qualifications:
- Minimum DipPFS (or equivalent)
