Moving Light Technician


Salary:
up to £30k DOE

My client is looking for a Moving Light Technician to join their team, this role will fall into the Warehouse operation and hands on.

The role will suit someone who has worked in a similar role before and is confident preparing, maintaining and testing lightingequipment.

This is a fast paced role but requires someone with good attention to detail and who is able to work to a high standard/ adhere to Quality control checks/ Standard Operating procedures.


Duties:


  • Preparation of equipment for rental
  • Delivering equipment to despatch bays
  • PAT testing of all portable electrical equipment
  • Ensure all shortages are highlighted and actioned
  • Ensure all function checks are carried out to guarantee the lights work correctly on set
  • Ensuring all items are scanned and all noncoded items are accounted for
  • Maintenance and repair of moving lights and equipment
  • Report all damages
  • Follow repair procedures
  • Checking returned goods for damages and/or missing items
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure good customer service and a smooth process is carried out
  • Experience and confident with console platforms such as GrandMA or Chamsys
  • Computer literate
