Job summary:
- This is a crucial role supporting the development and maintenance of the PMO by coordinating the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Programme activities and initiatives. Your role will support the entire DDaT team with responsibility for management and insight of digital and technology delivery across DCMS and it's Arm's Length Bodies (ALBs).
Job description:
The role includes:
Planning:
Develop and maintain the planning documents to ensure the delivery of digital and technology projects remain on track, as well as a Portfolio plan to ensure critical PMO tasks are managed and maintained effectively
Reporting:
Support the reporting cycle, which includes at DDaT level and Strategy and Operations level. Ability to develop and maintain reporting dashboards and support the Portfolio and Delivery Team in completion of Management Information (MI)I data reporting requirements
Risk Management:
Manage and maintain cross DDaT risk registers/RAID logs including coordinating and facilitating regular updates with DDaT colleagues, and reporting of escalations.
Commissions:
Support the PMO Manager and Business Manager on coordinating the completion of commission requests at a DDaT and cross government level
Governance:
Assist in the coordination of reporting/MI as well as supplementary secretariat support such as collating papers, agendas, minutes and communications
Stakeholder Engagement Support:
Collaborate with the PMO manager to maintain and update the Stakeholder Engagement plan, and ensure all partners in DDaT and across DCMS are effectively and proportionately engaged, via a supporting RACI matrix
Document Management:
Provide support to the PMO Manager on guidance, communications and presentations. Effective management of project artefact sharing, organisation and filing conventions
Scheduling:
Manage the DDaT Portfolio & PMO calendar ensuring the team and senior leaders are prepared to effectively support the business.
