    We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Controller (home based) to provide financial decision making support to the dairies and to act as finance lead in driving improvements in dairies performance.

    This role will ensure site budget and capital investments are optimised and to act as business partner to the Heads of Manufacturing and site teams.

    Please note this role will require some travel between our Manufacturing sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Management of the Site Finance Business Partners across our MMI Network
    Responsible for the management and development of the white milk and cream site finance business partners
    Drive consistency and standardisation in ways of working across all sites and drive synergies in completion of month end
    Build effective collaboration and sharing of best practice among the site finance business partners
    Act as deputy of Head of Controlling: Manufacturing where required

    Costing / Reporting

    Support Commercial teams with new tenders - ensuring costings provided are robust, transparent and key cost drivers are understood
    Ensure adherence to group standard costing methodology
    Oversee the month end process for the white milk and cream sites, ensuring that the management accounts accurately report sites income and expenditures and closing balance sheet
    To provide the site management team and MMI leadership with clear, timely and accurate analysis, and explanations of the financial impact of performance

    Operational Performance:

    Ensure accurate and clear reporting to site leadership across all sites
    Review and drive improvements in white milk and cream forecasting
    Support sites to deliver on functional targets
    Drive and management standardised financial based KPI metrics for sites, reporting to site management teams and MMI leadership on daily/weekly/monthly cycles

    Strategy Development

    Co-ordinate and facilitate detailed budget and forecasting process of white milk and cream sites
    Work with site finance business partners and site teams to review investment opportunities for sites
    Support SKU/Product Family rationalisation opportunities
    Provide robust financial modelling and systems solutions to new business opportunities across all manufacturing processes
    Support adhoc delivery of projects both for wider manufacturing and controlling teams

    Continuous Improvement

    Work collaboratively with other parts of Controlling Function and wider business
    Build relations with Group colleagues to support implementation of group standards
    Identify areas for improvement in reporting and where necessary influence key stakeholders to implement

    About you

    Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQA
    Proven experience in FMCG and managing a team
    Track record of driving continuous improvement
    Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment, proactively responding to changing requirements
    Ability to work cross functionally with ability to bring other (non-financial) teams along a journey
    Excellent risk assessment and prioritisation skills
    Accuracy and attention to detail
