    Description

    Are you a Skilled CNC Miller with experience with 5 Axis machining? Do you want to join a small but exceptionally talented manufacturing team and play a part in development for the automotive industry, specialising in cutting-edge projects? Then we want to hear from you.
    This role demands a high level of precision and skill, as you will be responsible for setting and operating a variety of CNC milling machines, including advanced 5 axis equipment. You will be to producing high-quality precision machined components, adhering to stringent engineering standards.
    As a vital part of the team, you'll contribute to the creation of components that meet high expectations for quality, ensuring each piece is crafted accurately from a diverse range of raw materials.
    Your responsibilities as a Skilled 5 Axis CNC Miller:

    • Accurately machine precision components from various raw materials, strictly following engineering drawings to meet exact specifications.
    • Utilise relevant measuring equipment, adhering to each component's Inspection Schedule to guarantee precision.
    • Expertly set and operate CNC milling machines, familiar with Haas / Fanuc based CNC control systems or DMGMORI's CELOS (Siemens based) controls.
    • Adhere to the company's Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
    • Focus on ensuring the quality and timely manufacture of components, meeting both internal and external deadlines.
    Your current experience which will help you as a Skilled 5 Axis CNC Miller:
    • Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, providing a solid foundation of skills and knowledge.
    • A background in a precision engineering environment, with a proven track record of producing high-quality machined parts.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and proficiently use all relevant measurement equipment to assess component accuracy.
    • Extensive experience as a CNC Miller, ideally with expertise in 5 axis machining and working with castings.
    • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellence in your work.
    • Enjoyment and motivation in working towards tight deadlines, thriving under pressure to deliver exceptional results.
    What you can expect as a Skilled 5 Axis CNC Miller:
    • £18-£20 per hour, dependent on experience.
    • 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
