    Job Specification

    Qualified Mortgage Adviser for Sheffield/The Peak District based Mortgage Brokers, 3Sixty Financial Solutions.

    3Sixty Financial Solutions is looking to recruit a qualified Mortgage Adviser with a minimum of 3 years' experience to fulfil the needs of our growing network of introducers, client base and ambitious business growth. A predominantly office-based role with potential for some work from home flexibility after a specified probationary period and at managers discretion.

    The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years' experience as an adviser, their own client bank and a proven track record of knowledge and performance. They'll work alongside our existing advisers and be supported by and work closely with our team of experienced administrators whose role it is to efficiently manage, process and finalise our clients' mortgage applications as well as ensuring clients are fully aware of their life protection insurance options.

    With a strong understanding of and compliance with Consumer Duty, the role is to provide our clients with a high standard of unbiased, informative, knowledgeable, advice and inform them of their most suitable options based on their individual needs and circumstances. In addition to mortgage advice, the adviser will be expected to have a good knowledge of, and be able to advise clients on, suitable life protection insurance policies as well as making sure the client is informed of and aware of our other services including general insurance, estate planning, conveyancing quotes and surveying services.

    Daily tasks include: holding scheduled mortgage appointments with our new and existing client portfolio; providing mortgage quotes; submitting applications and attending the daily needs and questions of our clients, our support team and the business, as well as helping to solve any issues that may be hindering the progress of an application; making clients aware of their life protection insurance options and establishing a budget for the protection team; generating new leads through networking, your own network and through client referrals.

The right candidate will be expected to have researched and familiarised themselves with the company via our website and our social media channels.     The role and the business are built around positive customer outcomes so it's essential the candidate can present themselves well to internal and external clients, face-to-face, over the phone and in writing. You'll need to be confident and self-motivated with an ability to learn on the job, absorb information, generate new business, problem solve and process your cases in a clear and timely manner. The role can be fast paced and varied, and you'll be expected daily to meet multiple deadlines, so attention to detail and an ability to multi-task is key. The preferred candidate will be computer literate and have knowledge of working with some form of financial services CRM package.
