** £144 - £208 per day

The Geography Teacher Role:


As a Geography Teacher at this school, you will be teaching geography to KS3 and KS4 pupils across the national curriculum up to GCSE level.

This is the full Geography Teacher role, so it includes planning, marking and assessments.

You will monitor pupil progress,writing reports and taking part in parents' evenings, ensuring that the attainment of the pupils you teach is tracked.

You will liaise with SLT with regards to making targets for your students for their assessments.

The Geography Teacher:
For this Geography Teacher role, you must have extensive experience teaching Geography in different settings.

You must be a QTS Geography Teacher, who has ideally taught in an Alternative Provision before, or a similar setting (such as a Pupil Referral Unit).You must have excellent classroom management skills and be highly capable de-escalating situations and building positive relationships with the pupils you teach.

This Alternative Provision located in Solihull caters for pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4 with challenging behaviour and SEMH issues that have resulted in them havingbarriers to their mainstream education.
