    Description
    Associate Electrical Engineer

    Buro Happold is recruiting for a Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Environments team in our Manchester office.

    We proudly support hybrid working however candidates will be expected to travel to our Manchester office - days a week.

    Office / Project Location:

    The role could see you working as a electrical designer in a large project team, or being a project engineer on smaller schemes.

    You will be working on some of the most technically challenging projects in our portfolio - recent examples include:, BASE Building at Manchester Science Park, the ,Space Studios and the new in Liverpool.

    Lead the electrical team and take a project leadership role as required.
    # Further developing relationships with existing and new clients including contractors, architects and developers.
    # Preparing technical and financial proposals for new work.
    # Monitor financial performance of jobs as well as setting up and managing job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure.

    As a talented building services engineer, it is expected that you would be able to demonstrate...
    # Extensive electrical design experience in an MEP consultancy, with experience acting as project leader.
    # Diverse sector experience, ideally with large scale project experience.
    # Bachelors or master's degree in engineering.
    # Proficiency in the use of Revit would be preferable, however a willingness to undertake training is essential.
