    On Call Shifts:

    • Rota expectation: 40 hours per week, 6 sleep ins, and 3 4 on call shifts 12 months in a Deputy role, QCF Level 3 minimum, willingness to complete QCF Level 5 Responsibilities:
    • Provide a home for vulnerable and complex young people in residential care
    • Implement rigorous care planning and therapeutic interventions
    • Support senior staff and TPW's in daily operational systems
    • Responsible for the day to day running of the home in the absence of the homes manager
    • Ensure compliance with company Policy and Procedures and all OFSTED regulations
    • Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people
    • Meet the individual needs of the young people and maintain high standards of care
    • Provide a safe and sensitive environment for young people
    • Welcome young people to the home and support transitions according to company policy
    • Support young people in stressful situations, crises, or emotional challenges
    • Oversee the development, monitoring, and implementation of individual care plans
    • Maintain good relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and other professionals
    • Ensure specific needs of young people are met, including religious observance, cultural needs, dietary requirements, and medical conditions
    • Plan, manage, and lead shifts to ensure children are safe and engaged
    • Promote and support education for each child
    • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and risk assessments Qualifications:
    • DSL in the Managers absence
    • Familiarity with Local Authority Safeguarding Child Protection Procedures and SureCare Safeguarding & Child Protection Procedures
    • Experience in working with children in a residential care setting
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work within a team and support the overall goals of the organization .
