    DHL Pensions UK takes care of UK related pension topics. Pensions UK aligns processes with the Trustee and the head of Pensions UK is a member of various Trustee Committees. All pension related administrative tasks for past and current employees as well as for retirees and their surviving dependents are conducted in this department. In addition to these administrative tasks, Pensions UK effects the pension payments.

    Job Purpose:

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a number of in-house pension arrangements.
  • Your tasks:

  • Answering telephone calls and answering queries.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day administration of the Company's DC/DB pension schemes.
  • Assisting with the calculation and payment of benefits, referring non-standard cases to the Senior Pensions Administrator.
  • Efficient handling of correspondence, e-mail and telephone enquiries from scheme members and third-party institutions.
  • Process work in accordance with documented work flow procedures.
  • Providing support and information to the Pensions Administrator.
  • Maintaining and developing personal knowledge and skills relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
  • Taking responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work.
  • Complying with Company procedures and the requirements of the industry regulator.
  • Achieve set targets in line with internal service level agreements.
  • Liaising pro-actively with other team members to ensure clarity and successful delivery of pension administration services to the scheme membership.
  • Understand the needs of scheme members and employees
  • Ensure completion of work within SLA's
  • Your profile:

  • Maths and English at GCSE/O-Level grade C or above
  • Experience in similar field would be an advantage
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • IT literate and numerate
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Use your initiative in a fast paced working environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
