Tasks


The Safeguarding Coordinator is a vital Touchstone-wide role, providing specialist advice and guidance to Touchstone managers and staff, whilst providing best practice information sharing across relevant boards and with Touchstone's stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to consolidate the development of robust supporting, reporting and reflection systems around safeguarding and to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness.

The Safeguarding Coordinator is line managed by the Operations Director for Inclusion, based at our head office in Leeds.

The post holder will on occasion be required to travel across the district to meet with service managers and provide specialist training to staff.


Requirements:

Applicants are required to have experience of specialist safeguarding work, either in a professional capacity e.g. as a nurse or social worker, or through work in domestic abuse, education settings, or early help hubs.
