    Description

    As the Global Operations Director for our client you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all operational aspects of business.

    This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker who is data driver and has brilliant interpersonal. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
    # Internal Operations

    • Oversee global surveyor operations including but not limited to recruitment, training, and monitoring of key business metrics (time on site, data quality)
    • Work closely with the global sales team to advise on capture timelines and costings, profit margin, SLA documentation and T&Cs
    • Regularly review internal processes and make recommendations / changes where necessary
    • Ensure Digital Surveyors undertake the necessary Health and Safety courses and are up to date on current legislation and RICS guidelines
    • Collaborate with the Director of Technology to scope development work to increase operational efficiency and accuracy
    • Develop financial budgets and reports for founders and investors
    • Ensure the necessary insurance cover is in place for our products, business interuption and employers liability for global coverage. Negotiate pricing and policies on an annual basis
    • Oversee trade license renewal and office lease renewal in the UAE
    • Stay up to date with new lidar technologies and firmware updates which can impact time in property / data quality and data registration
    2)Production

    • Oversee SA based production team including recruitment, training and continuous monitoring of key metrics (production timelines, accuracy)
    • Work closely with the production / sales and operations teams to ensure client deadlines are met and any issues are resolved / communicated to clients in a timely manner
    • Regularly review internal processes and make recommendations / changes where necessary
    • Plan production recruitment to ensure the team are recruited and trained to meet quarterly / annual sales targets
    • Work closely with the production manager and external contractors to ensure the quality and accuracy of the drawings
    • Work closely with the Director of Technology to develop technology solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
    3)Human Resources

    • Support HR manager with day to day operations including recruitment strategy & induction training
    • Review, develop and update business policies
    • Advise / conduct investigations and diciplinaries
    • Where nessesary engage with legal council to ensure the business is protected at all times
    4)Team Leadership and Development

    • Provide strong leadership to the global operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
    5)

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior management, providing regular updates on operational performance, key initiatives, and strategic insights to support decisionmaking.
