    Trainee Pest Control Technician

    Salary £41, inclusive of 11% LWA and 1 in 4 standby payments) Location London Shift Pattern Days Hours per day

    The Vacancy

    Job Description:
    As a Pest Control Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pest control services to our clients. This includes identifying and managing pest infestations, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring environments are not conducive to pest activity. You will receive training and support to obtain the RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management within 6 months of joining.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management within 6 months of joining – training support provided.
  • Stay updated with training and technical developments in pest control.
  • Take ownership of pest-related issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls.
  • Produce detailed reports and escalate issues as needed.
  • Carry out pest-proofing works and installations within your technical competence.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and use pesticides responsibly.
  • Work efficiently to support cost-effective operations.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain good relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Additional Duties:

  • Fulfil any reasonable requests from the company.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines when needed.
  • Complete mandatory training on our training platform.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.

    We conduct work at Airports and Railway stations, therefore annual DBS checks are carried out on all team members. It is also a requirement to have no gaps of more than 28 days in your employment history.
