Our Federation Vision - Flourish as a family, Love to learn, Make memories, Shine
Our Christian Vision - 'How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity' St. Margaret's C of E Junior School is a very popular and thriving three-form entry junior school in Whitnash, near Leamington Spa. Since September 2016 we have been federated with Briar Hill Infant School which is on the same site. Our Federation is a vibrant place to be, where staff enjoy working as part of a highly ambitious team. As a class teacher at our school, you will have all the benefits of collaborating and planning with your team. We share a broad and balanced bespoke curriculum with Briar Hill and our Subject Leads work closely with colleagues at Briar Hill. We can offer you: a very supportive, welcoming and friendly team; a warm, highly inclusive and nurturing school environment; enthusiastic, polite and responsive children; excellent opportunities for continued professional development. We have an exciting and experiential curriculum with a keen focus on making memories for our children and families; SEND and pastoral provision is excellent and allows all children to flourish. Growth Mindset and developing children as independent learners are at the core of everything we do; we place high value on active learning in all subjects, with STEM subjects a key strength and encourage all children to shine through the performing arts. As a CE church school, invitational, inclusive and inspirational collective worship and RE lessons play an important part in school life for those of faith or no faith. We are looking for: an excellent KS2 teacher with a passion for child-centred learning; someone with enthusiasm and high expectations for our children; someone who can inspire and motivate others; someone who engages all children with a range of active learning strategies; someone who can bring something fresh to our Federation team; someone who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting school events. Do visit our website HERE and our school to get a feel of our St Margaret's community and curriculum offer. We also offer visits to our school to interested applicants. Please email our admin team to arrange a visit. Please complete the application form with a supporting statement of no more than 2 sides of A4.
