    From Oxford Global Resources, we are seeking a Quality Control Manager Laboratory to be located on-site at a client near Cork. Our client is a US-based biotechnology and pharmaceutical company in need of someone to join their team to lead the Quality Control Laboratory Area.

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor your team to maximize their effectiveness by clearly communicating task details and goals, fostering a positive progressive culture within the lab.
  • Embed an environment for continuous improvement and simplification, driving for a digitalized lab with automated technology ensuring Data Integrity is at the forefront.
  • Ensure Lab is Audit Ready at all times, deploying Visual management across all streams within the lab, and maintaining qualified lab equipment and software in a compliant manner.
  • Improve QC operations and develop systems, focusing on efficiencies, cost, and compliance, while deploying best-in-class operational excellence processes for the QC labs.
  • Delegate activities, giving responsibility to personnel appropriate to their experience/expertise, and maintain and develop skills to ensure a multi-task team.
  • Participate in technical and scientific meetings, in training days, trade fairs, conferences to gather technological intelligence.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or its equivalent, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical acumen in analytical laboratory equipment and operations, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of associated business workflows.
  • Showcase a robust background in managing personnel directly, with a proven track record in this regard.
  • Exhibit adept conflict resolution skills, further enhancing your capacity to lead effectively.
