Salford Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has haemodialysis services based at Salford Royal Hospital, Bolton and Wigan satellite units.


We are looking for a Clinical Support worker to join the nursing team at Salford Renal Dialysis & Short Stay Unit.

Renal experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

You will be required to complete a renal dialysis competency pack which includes observations and machine management.

We can provide you with a varied, challenging and supportive environment with excellent opportunities for professional development.

There are opportunities to gain skills in venepuncture. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic and want a new challenge we would be delighted to hear from you.


If you possess excellent communication skills, and have a desire to deliver safe, clean and personal care to our patients, then you may be the type of person we are looking for.

The unit operates Monday - Saturday, 07:00 - 23:00.

We are looking for staff who can commit to a variety of shift patterns throughout the week.

The working week will include a mixture of the following shifts:

06:30-19:00, 06:30-14:30, 06:30-12:30

11:00-19:00, 13:00-19:00

10:30-23:00, 15:00-23:00, 17:00-23:00


Salford Royal has teamed up with housing association Salix Homes to provide a 26-apartment complex for doctors, nurses and other clinical staff new to the Trust.
