What will this role achieve?


Reporting to the Grocery Shopper Marketing Manager, the individual will play a relevant role in the Shopper Marketing function for the pladis UK Business.

You will be responsible for ensuring that pladis brands achieve phenomenal standout in-store across the market, utilising physical merchandising equipment and competing point of sale material briefs

You will work internally with Category, Marketing and Sales colleagues to ensure strong execution of 360-degree plans as well as externally with key retailers to develop and implement instore campaigns


Working along the Grocery Shopper Marketing Manager you will utilise insights and market data to pro-actively drive enhanced communications that deliver better customer experiences and stronger return on investment.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • You will support and work alongside the Grocery Shopper Marketing Manager in delivering the annual Shopper plans with Retailers, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco & Sainsbury
  • Work directly the Rontec, Booker, BRP, One Stop account managers and support with activation of pladis shopper marketing plans, unlocking new opportunities & driving great visibility of the pladis brands on
- line and instore.

  • Support the Grocery hopper Marketing Manager in daytoday planning, implementation and briefing of shopper media across Top 4 Grocers
  • Ensuring that the shopper communications that are going out into market from these channels are approved by the appropriate parties where required. Head of Shopper, Grocery Shopper Marketing Manager, Brand, Legal, Regulatory and Corporate.
  • Working alongside Grocery Shopper Marketing Manager on budget management for Top 4 Grocers
  • Adhoc data and insights support to feed into Category, Brand and Commercial plans
  • You will also be responsible for supporting the shopper marketing team with day today admin duties such as the raising of shopper marketing PO requests and management in SAP.
  • Accurately recording Shopper Marketing investment POs on relevant trackers and shopper investment phasing sheet.
What do you need for this role?

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in other commercial functions a plus e.g. Sales, Category, Marketing
  • Understanding of full Shopper Journey touchpoints
  • Ability to conduct briefing and coordination of Shopper Marketing activity
  • Effective interpersonal skills, partner management and collaboration skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong personal leadership skills
  • High level of attention to detail
