- Receiving leads from calls, website enquiries and other online platforms, and transforming them into clients.
- Liaising with customers and identifying the type of move they require, e.g. UK house moves, a European shared load move, all the way through to shipping an entire home across the world or the relocation of high value goods.
- Taking ownership of each customer move which you sell, maintaining a strong connection with the customer and addressing and resolving all queries and issues until the move is complete.
- Recording all relevant details on our in-house systems, e.g. location/destination, UK/Europe/rest of world, any time constraints, which packing service is required, etc.
- Organising surveys or recording the customer's inventory and using this information to tailor the move to the customer's requirements and budget.
- Liaising with colleagues and contractors to discuss client options, unusual requests etc.
- Liaising with our Surveyors to confirm all details of any move.
- Ideally you will have had worked in the Removals/Relocation industry or a related sector – Estate Agency etc, although sales experience is more relevant.
- You must be comfortable working a in sales/target driven environment.
- You must be able to cover hours within a staggered day pattern, working 8 hours between 07:00 and 18:00, and also be able to cover one Saturday in 4.
- You will have an excellent telephone manner & strong PC skill. Your time management will be excellent, and you will be a competent multi-tasker.
- You are a Team Player but also able to work under your own initiative.
