You will be an enthusiastic and organised individual who has experience in carrying out a range of administrative duties including project support, preferably within an NHS setting but with a knowledge of developments in Medical Education in the NHS.


As well as having the requisite qualifications, skills and experience, the successful MEA will need to be dynamic, flexible and able to work as part of a multi-site team and most importantly, to reflect our Trust values.

The Medical Education Team are very keen to further develop and raise the profile of Medical Education and we see this role as key to underpinning this aim.


  • To proactively support the wider Medical Education Team in achieving positive outcomes to the education, development and experience of Physician Associates, Trainee Doctors and Medical Students.
  • In particular be the main point of contact and support for the development of Physician Associates in the Trust.
  • This will include administrative support to the Medical Education Coordinator, Associate Director of Medical Education, Medical Education manager and Physician Associate Ambassador
  • To act as a point of contact for medical trainees and students ensuring any issues they raise are escalated and monitored and that pastoral support can be easily accessed.
  • To work collaboratively with educators and department managers to create a highquality learning environment and culture whilst delivering against the department's strategic objectives.
  • To participate in providing assurance that statutory and mandatory requirements are met and in line with Health Education England (HEE) and the General Medical Council (GMC) frameworks.
  • The job includes administrative and facilitation tasks, including organising meetings, minute taking and monitoring action plans.
