    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking site work using GPR and EML techniques for on-site service avoidance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
  • Undertaking site work using EML and cover lifting techniques for utility mapping works to PAS128 standard
  • Site works, processing and drafting of utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards in AutoCAD 2D/3D
  • Working as part of a team and training junior members on EML techniques
  • Managing ongoing projects
  • Liaising with external clients and internal site investigation teams for project scheduling

  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Aptitude to work independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential to the role.
  • Self-motivated, with diligence, integrity and ambition.
  • Willingness to travel around the UK
  • Adherence to our technical and operating procedures with a strong sense of health and safety awareness
  • Experienced Utility Surveyor (3+ years industry experience)
  • Competent in use of EML equipment for completion of service detection and PAS128 mapping surveys
  • QCF Level 3 and/or higher in Utility Mapping
  • Experience in use of GPR equipment for utility detection
  • Experience in use of High Precision GPS &Total Stations
  • Experience in use of 2D AutoCAD
  • Competent IT skills including Excel, 3D CAD would be an advantage
  • Must hold a UK driving license
