    English Academic Coach

    ***September 2024- July 2025
    ***1-2-1 and small group support for KS3 and KS4 students surrounding the GCSE English curriculum.
    ***'Outstanding' secondary school.

    Requirements:
    • At least a bachelor's degree in English Literature, Language, or a related subject.
    • Genuine passion for the English field, and a desire to instil this into students aged 11-16.
    • A friendly, approachable personality, alongside the ability to communicate in a clear manner.
    • Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not essential.
    The Role
    As an English Academic Coach, your responsibilities will include:
    • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11-16 as they progress through the English GCSE national curriculum.
    • Assist teaching staff in the planning of engaging lessons and in the creation of effective learning materials.
    • Monitoring and tracking pupil progression in order to adapt learning materials and devise support strategies to suit each individual's needs.
    • Building strong relationships with students and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
