The Business Operations team plays a fundamental role in ensuring Paramount UK's content investment is deployed efficiently, so that all productions flow onto our broadcast, streaming and other distribution channels smoothly, and our production partners and teams have a good experience working with us.


The Business Operations Coordinator role logs and processes our commissions, making sure they are accurately integrated into our scheduling and operational systems, and that - working with our Finance and Payments teams - payments are made to production companies on time and without complication.

What will you be doing?

Administer the key operational processes required to ensure our commissions are properly managed into and through the Paramount business, including:
Setting up each commission in our key content and scheduling database systems
Managing producer royalty statements in relation to VOD or other UK ancillary exploitation undertaken by Paramount
Requesting and processing international sales statements supplied by independent producers and, with our Finance and Payments teams, coordinating the collection of royalty payments due to Paramount
Raising Purchase Orders/invoices to facilitate payment to/from production companies
Support payment initiation and processing for VIS UK, our in-house production arm
Respond to producer queries and questions in relation to payment, liaising with Paramount's wider Finance, Payment and Production Management teams, and supporting producers through our workflows and processes
Undertake ad hoc analysis using Paramount systems relating to content spend, supplier base or other business or operational factors

What are we looking for?

2-3 years' experience working in a operational role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A rigorous and methodical approach to work, incorporating attention to detail and quality control in everything you do
Self-starting and proactive approach to trouble-shooting and problem-solving
Strong numerical and financial literacy
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels


Highly desirable:
Experience in the broadcasting or television production industry, with a basic understanding of commissioning and production processes
