    Community Paediatric Nurse

    Are you a passionate Paediatric Nurse with a heart for making a difference in the lives of children and their families?

    CK Group are supporting an excellent pharmaceutical services company in their search for a Paediatric Nurse to work hand-in-hand with assigned hospitals and centers, delivering education and support to ensure the safe administration of parenteral nutrition, biologic therapies, and intravenous medications to children.

    Location: Surrey

    As a Paediatric Nurse, youwill:

  • Conduct engaging training interactions to empower families and caregivers, ensuring they can confidently administer medication before the child leaves the hospital.
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments to ensure children are well enough to receive treatment, employing keen observations such as oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and heart rate.
  • Provide unwavering support through a combination of tailored programs, including telephone consultations, clinic-based interactions, and home visits, aligning with the commitment to patient-centric care.
  • Uphold regulatory responsibilities by adhering to CQC/GDP/NMC/GPHC/ICO standards. Report adverse drug events promptly, ensuring compliance with protocols and maintaining astrong focus on infection prevention and control.
  • Your Skills and Knowledge:

  • RSCN or RN-C with experience in a Paediatric Nurse setting, whether in a hospital or community environment.
  • Hands-On Skills: Proficient in clinical assessments, administering sub-cutaneous injections, cannulation, and ideally, phlebotomy.
  • Therapeutic Insight: Strong understanding of therapies relevant to our service offering, including in-depth knowledge of NHS practices for managing patients with treated conditions.
  • Detail-Oriented: Pay close attention to detail, following rules and protocols with a commitment to quality-oriented care.
  • Communication Virtuoso: Strong communication skills, actively listening, communicating sensitively, and simplifying technical details for easy understanding.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively within and outside the organization, building strong relationships to enhance patient care.
  • Time Management Guru: Makes effective use of available time, showcasing well-developed planning and organizational skills.
