Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a global services business who are seeking a new lead finance professional to help grow the business and increase profitability.

Located in central Essex, this role forms part of the Senior Management Team and willhave commercial, operational and strategic input into the business, forming an integral contribution in business's long term strategies and goals.

Partnering with the Global CEO and Operations Director and heading up the finance function a few key responsibilities include:

Oversee the accounting department and responsibility for managing four direct reports_
Provide financial and operational reports to Director level and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations_
Participating in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model, and operational execution_
Overseeing of financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships and cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed_
Ensure appropriate internal controls and financial procedures in line with best practices._
Complete responsibility of finance function including all statutory obligations, management accounts, budgeting/forecasting and production of relevant MI and analysis._

This role will suit an experienced or developing senior finance professional who can excel in both the day-to-day duties as well as all commercial and operational requirements in the wider business.

The successful individual will ideally have had exposure/experiencewith Sage as well as any experience within the recruitment or services industry.
